How They Met
We actually met in high school but went different ways in college. After college, Jaclyn posted a picture of cakes she makes so I made a comment that I was having a birthday and a party and she should come. She showed up with a red velvet cake and the rest was history!
The Proposal
Escape Room Proposal
They Said Yes!
We had been together for 8 years at this time. She actually proposed in an escape room- she said she wanted to surprise me and she sure did! I thought it was a joke
When I saw the ring I thought it was fake because it was soooo beautiful!
I then proposed to her in December 2018 at a park in Buffalo by with 100 roses and all of our family and friends. Each rose had a reason why I love her!
Then we decided to travel and never got married, we knew we would but we wanted to travel. Then we wanted to spend our money trying to have kids. Then that took a very long time and almost didn’t happen. And then we found out we were having triplets!!! So we decided what better way to get married then at our baby shower
The Wedding
The wedding was the most amazing thing ever. It was in the water and celebrating our boys with all of our friends and family, small and perfect.

Experience at The Gem Lab
We worked with Paul to custom make our rings, the experience was amazing. We even changed our minds a few times and he rolled with the changes, the day we were going to finalize our CAD creation we walked in and saw a beautiful band in the case and switched it! Paul was amazing - at the time he did not have moissanite stones in house so he ordered a few different stones and sizes for us to see in person. After we got the rings we agreed to propose to each other on our own time.
Also to note: my engagement ring no longer fit so I need to get it resized, there was a miscommunication and it seemed like I wouldn’t be able to get my ring in time. But Paul wouldn’t have that! He drove to our house to drop off my resized ring the day before our wedding!!!!
